Candace P. Parrish, Ph.D. is the Director & Assistant Professor of the Strategic Communication & Public Relations Online Master’s Program in the School of Communication, Media and the Arts at Sacred Heart University. Candace received an interdisciplinary Ph.D. related to the areas of Public Relations, Health Communication, and Visual Communication from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has been recognized nationally & internationally for her research centered around visuals (infographics) used in public relations and health communication–although her interests span over a few areas (including sexual assault, diversity, sustainability and body positivity.) Additionally, Candace has over 9 years of industry/consulting experience, has been featured in Forbes, and is a freelance writer who has contributed to PR Daily.
Anthony Rodgers-Williams, Senior Campaign Strategist
Anthony Rodgers-Williams is a Class of 2019 graduate of North Carolina Central University. Where he majored in Mass Communication with a concentration of Public Relations & a minor in Writing. Anthony is currently in pursuit of his Master of Arts in Strategic Communication & Public Relations at Sacred Heart University. Anthony has strong written & verbal communication skills, attention to detail, a creative mind, & a collection of innovative ideas that he is more than willing to develop & implement in his work at your organization or business. Throughout his professional experience as well as his educational career one concept that has stayed with him is resilience. Resilience can be defined as the ability to recover from adversity or a difficult challenge. He keeps that concept close to his heart because the difference between victory & defeat is standing one last time to finish the battle.
